This instrument was made as a modern cello in 2016, based on an original by Andrea and his son Joseph Guarneri of Cremona, the “Ex-Dauelsberg” from 1691.
It is a small and compact model with a shortened vibrating string length, which through its breadth and wider table than back has tremendous reserves right into the bass range.
